       Thomas Mount forti Thomas Bowdie of Calvert County Planter was p. 571
        agt attached to answer unto Thomas Mountfort in
       Thomas Bowdie  a plea of trespas upon the case
        And whereupon the Said Thomas Mountfort by Kenelm Chesel
       dyn his Attorny complaineth that whereas the said Thomas Bowdle
       the 25th day of ffebruary in the yeare 1673 in Consideration that
       the said Thomas Mount fort at the Speciall instance & request of him
       the said Thomas Bowdle would lend unto him the said Thomas
       Bowdie One new boate belonging to him the said Thomas Mount-
       fort being fourteen foot by the Keele with her masts Sayles & other
       Rigging thereunto belonging the said Thomas Bowdle did assume
       upon himself e & to the said Thomas Mountfort did faithfully prom
       ise that he the said Thomas Bowdle the said boate with her mast
       Sayles & other Rigging within tenn dayes after would returne her
       againe to the said Thomas Mountfort in like manner as he received
       her, And the said Thomas Mountfort in fact Saith that he the Said
       Thomas Mount fort did lend & deliver unto the said Thomas Bowdie
       the hoate a foresaid with Mast new Sayles & all other necessary Rig
       ging thereunto belonging Notwithstanding which the said Thomas
       Bowdle the boate aforesaid with her Sayles & other rigging bath
