Acts. 217

an Act of Assembly of this Province entitled an Act for the speedy
Recovery of small Debts out of Court before one Justice of the
Peace made at a Session of Assembly begun and held at the City of
Annapolis the fourth Day of October one thousand seven Hundred
and sixty three be and is hereby continued and shall remain and be
in full force for and during the Term of seven Years and to the
End of the next Session of Assembly which shall happen after the
End of the said seven Years —

No. 14 An Act continuing an Act entitled an Act for imposing an Additional
Duty of two Pounds per Poll on all Negroes imported into this
Province.

Be it enacted by the right Honourable the Lord Proprietary by
and with the Advice and Consent of his Governor and the Upper
and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of the same That
an Act of Assembly of this Province entitled an Act for imposing
an Additional Duty of Two Pounds per Poll on all Negroes imported
into this Province made at a session of Assembly begun and held
at the City of Annapolis the fourth Day of October One thousand
seven hundred and sixty three be and is hereby continued and shall
remain and be in full force for and during the Term of seven Years
And to the End of the next Session of Assembly which shall happen
after the End of the said seven Years —
