M.r Chase brings in and delivers to M.r Speaker, a Bill, entitled,
An Act to enable the Commissioners for emitting Bills of Credit, to
pay to John Duckett, William Mills, and John Peacock, the Sum of
Money therein mentioned: Which was read the first and second
Time by an especial Order, and will pass. Sent to the Upper House
by M.r W. Paca and M.r Smallwood.
They return, and acquaint M.r Speaker they delivered the Bill
The Bill, entitled, a Supplementary Act to the Act, entitled, An
Act to prevent disabled and superannuated Slaves being set free, or
the Manumission of Slaves by any last Will or Testament, was read
the first and second Time, by an especial Order, and the Question was
put, that the said Bill do pass ? Resolved in the Negative
