entitled An Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco for preventing
ffrauds in his Majesty's Customs and for the Regulation of Officers
ffees. Which was read the first Time and ordered to lie on the
Table
M.r Joseph Dashiell appeared in the House
The House adjourns till To Morrow Morning Eight O'Clock

The Members were called and all appeared as on Yesterday.
The Proceedings of Yesterday were read
M.r Eden, M.r Grahame and M.r Wright appeared in the House
The Bill for abolishing June County Courts &ta with the Amend-
ment proposed by the Upper House was read a second Time and
past for ingrossing
M.r Ringgold brings in and delivers to M.r Speaker a Bill entitled
An Act to invest John Clayton with an exclusive Privilege and
Benefit of making and selling a Machine for threshing of Wheat on
a Model by him invented which was read the first Time and ordered
to lie on the Table
M.r W. Paca brings in and delivers to M.r Speaker a Bill entitled
An Act for the Adjournment and Continuance of the High Court
of Appeals and for other Purposes therein mentioned — Which was
read the first Time
Ordered, That the said Bill be read a second Time. Upon reading
the said Bill a second Time, Ordered, That the same be committed
for Amendment

M.r Buchanan hath Leave of Absence till Friday next
M.r Ringgold brings in and delivers to M.r Speaker a Bill entitled
An Act for the Adjourning and Continuance of the High Court of
Appeals and for the Adjournment of the Provincial Court and other
Purposes therein mentioned — Which was read the first and second
Time by an especial Order and will pass
The Order of the Day for taking into Consideration the State and
Condition of the publick Offices being read the same is referred for
Consideration on Tuesday the 23d Instant
The Order of the Day for taking into Consideration the Subject
Matter of the Motion from the Committee of Accounts relative to
the Treasurers Accounts being read the same is referred for Con-
sideration on Tuesday the 23:d Instant.
