Wednesday 26:th September 1770
The House met according to Adjournment.

The Members were called and all appeared as on Yesterday.
The Proceedings of Yesterday were read.
M.r Contee appeared in the House.
Ordered, That the Gentlemen who were on the Committee to
inspect the Arms and Ammunition, and the Accounts relating thereto,
appointed by this House last Session, be continued thereon this
Session.
Ordered, That a Message be prepared to the Upper House acquaint-
ing them with the Hours this House hath appointed for their Sitting
for the Dispatch of the publick Business during this Session.
Ordered, That M.r Ringgold, M.r Grahame, M.r Worthington,
M.r Eden, M.r Steele, M.r Contee and M.r Parran join one or more
of the Members of the Upper House as a Committee to inspect the
Office and Proceedings of the Commissioners for emitting Bills
of Credit.
Ordered, That a Message be prepared to the Upper House, ac-
quainting them therewith
Ordered, That the Rules of last Session be observed as the Rules
of this Session

The following Message was sent to the Upper House by M.r
Grahame and M.r Worthington

By the Lower House of Assembly 26:th September 1770
May it please your Honours,
This House hath appointed Mess.rs Ringgold, Grahame, Worth-
ington, Eden, Steele, Contee and Parran to join one or more of the
Members of your House as a Committee to inspect the Office and
Proceedings of the Commissioners for emitting Bills of Credit

They return and acquaint M.r Speaker they delivered the Message

Mackall and M.r Hooper
By the Lower House of Assembly September 26.th 1 770

till One in the Afternoon for its Sitting every Day during this
Session for the Dispatch of the publick Business.
