N:o 21:

An Act for turning Part of a Street called East Street in the City
of Annapolis and for confirming the Title of Thomas Jenings
Esquire of the said City to a Lot of Ground therein

[A Private
Act]

Whereas Thomas Jenings Esquire by his Petition to this General
Assembly hath set forth that he is seised in ffee of a Lot or Portion
of Ground in the City of Annapolis distinguished on the Plat of
the said City by the Number Eighty six through which Lot there runs
a Street called East Street and praying that the said Street may be
turned so as to run up with and bind on the Lot distinguished on the
Plat of the said City by the Number Eighty five late in the Tenure
of John Brice Esquire deceased and that the Remainder of the said
Lot Number Eighty six including that Part of East Street aforesaid
which runs through the same may be confirmed to him in free and
it appearing that the Corporation of the aforesaid City of Annapolis
have Assented to such Alteration and turning of the said Street
Be it therefore Enacted by and with the Advice and Consent of his
Lordship's Governor and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly
and the Authority of the same that the said Street called East-Street
shall at all Times hereafter run up with and bind on the aforesaid
Lot distinguished on the Plat of the said City by the Number eighty
five and not through the Lot Number Eighty six as it originally run
And the Remainder of the said Lot Number Eighty six including
that Part of East Street aforesaid which originally run through
the same is hereby confirmed unto the said Thomas Jenings and his
Heirs for ever saving to all others not named their just Rights.
