This House met again according to Adjournment.

Present as in Morning

On Motion made, by Daniel Dulany Esq,,r, Leave is given to bring
in a Bill for the Recovery of certain Amercements, and also upon
Defaults on Execution
Mess.rs Holliday and Bordley bring, from the Lower House, an
Engrossed Bill Entitled An Act for the Adjournment and Continu-
ance of Talbot, Baltimore, and Cecil County Courts.
Read and assented to by the Lower House of Assembly.
Read and assented to by this House, and Ordered to be so Sub-
scribed, the Paper Bills so Endorsed sent by Benedict Calvert Esq/
Ordered that no Private Petition shall Pass this House unless
the facts therein set forth be fully proved.
The Clerk of this House is directed to give a Copy of the above
Order to the Printers, that it may be published in the next Gazettee
Adjourned until to Morrow Morning 10 of the Clock

Mess,,rs Allen and Purnell attend, with M.r Parker Selby, a Mem-
ber Elected for Worcester County, to see him Qualified, who takes
the Oaths to the Government, appointed to be taken by Act of As-
sembly, Repeats and Subscribes the Abjuration and Test, and then
withdraws.

Read and referred the Petition of the Vestry and Inhabitants of
Stepney Parish, in Somerset and Worcester Counties.

Read, the second time, the Petition of Henry Darnall Robert
Darnall Rachel Darnall and Mary Darnall, Heard Robert Golds-
borough Esq,,r as Council in Support of the said Petition, the
Consideration of which is Postponed until to Morrow Morning
Adjourned until 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon.
