pounds of Tobacco to and for the use and purpose of enlarging the
parish Church at Monie aforesaid

Provided always and be it enacted that it shall and may be law full
for the several and respective Inhabitants of the said parish to pay
and discharge the said several and respective sums of Tobacco to
be levied for the uses aforesaid in Money in the same manner as they
now are enabled to pay and discharge the Publick or County Levy
any clause matter or thing herein to the Contrary notwithstanding

No. 9 An Act for the Adjournment and Continuance of Frederick County
Court


Whereas an Adjournment of Frederick County Court is at this
time necessary many of the members of the lower house being
absent through sickness and several of the members whose At-
tendance on their duty here cannot be dispensed with having also
necessary Business in the said Court

[Preamble]

Be it therefore Enacted by the right Honourable the Lord Pro-
prietary by and with the Advice and consent of his Lordships
Governor and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the
Authority of the same That all Causes Pleas Process and pro-
ceedings either Civil or Criminal now depending in or returnable
to the said County Court to be held the third Tuesday of November
in this present year shall be and are by Virtue of this Act adjourned
and continued from the said third Tuesday in November until the
first Tuesday in December next and shall be in the same Plight
and Condition as they would be on the said third Tuesday of
November any Law usage or Custom to the Contrary notwith-
standing
