Gentlemen,
We have returned the Bill, entitled, An Act for the Payment of
the Public Claims, for emitting Bills of Credit, [The Message be-
ginning thus is printed in full in the Upper House Journal, pp. 122-

123].

The ingrossed Bills, Viz.t
N.o 13. An Act continuing an Act, entitled, An Act for imposing

an additional Duty of two Pounds per Poll, on all Negroes imported

into this Province.
N.o 14. An Additional Supplementary Act to the Act, entitled
An Act for quieting Possessions, enrolling Conveyances, and se-
curing the Estates of Purchasers.
N.o 15. An Act to ease the Inhabitants of this Province, and to
impower the Justices of the several Counties to bind out the Persons
therein mentioned, Apprentices.
N.o 16. An Act for the speedy and effectual Publication of the
Laws of this Province, and for the Encouragement of Jonas Green,
of the City of Annapolis, Printer
N.o 17. A Supplementary Act, to the Act, entitled, An Act to
prevent the Mischiefs arising from the Multiplicity of useless Dogs,
and for other Purposes therein mentioned
Were sent to the Upper House, with the Paper Bills, by M.r F.
Gantt, and M.r Sothoron.

The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock
