Examination and Inspection be made into all the Acts that have
been passed, and Resolves that have been made, relative to the
Revenue, and every Branch thereof, and raising and levying Money
upon the People in any Manner whatsoever, towards supporting
the executive Powers of Government, together with the cotempor-
ary Journals and Proceedings, not only of this House, but also of
the Upper House, and Governor and Privy Council. It is there-
fore further Resolved, That the said Committee have free Access
to all Papers, Books, and Records, in any of the Public Offices, to
search and examine the same, and take Copies of any Part thereof
they may think proper: And also, That the said Committee, have
Power to employ a Clerk, who shall have the same Daily Allowance,
under them, as Clerks in Session's Time have, and that the House
will take Care that the said Committee be indemnified for any
Reasonable Expence that may be incurred in prosecuting said
Inquiry.

The House adjourns till Monday Morning at 9 of the Clock

Monday, December I.
The House met.
M.r Edmondson, J. Hammond Esq Col. Loyd, M.r Buchanan,
and M.r Tyler appeared in the House.

The Bill, entitled, An Act for the speedy Foreclosure of Mort-
gages, was read and committed for Amendments.

B. Calvert, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Bill, a Supplementary Act to the Act, entitled, An Act to prevent
the Mischiefs arising from the Multiplicity of useless Dogs, and
for other Purposes therein mentioned: Indorsed, "By the Upper
House of Assembly. Read the second Time, and will pass." Which
Bill was read here, and passed for ingrossing.
The Bill, entitled, An Act for the Preservation of the Breed of
Fish; was read the second Time, and will pass, and was sent to
the Upper House, by M.r Jacob, and J. Hall, Esq.
On Motion, Ordered, That M.r Speaker do issue his Warrant
to the Deputy Secretary of this Province, to make out a Writ of
Election, directed to the Sheriff of Baltimore County, to elect a
Delegate, to serve in the General Assembly of this Province, in
the Room of M.r James Heath, lately deceased.

The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning, at 9 of the Clock.
