titled, An Act for quieting Possessions, enrolling Conveyances &c.^a
Indorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly, November 22, 1766:
Leave out the Words "or Effects" in the 11.^th Line of the 3.^d Page.
After the Words, "Covert," in the 13.^th Line of the same Page, add
the following Words, Viz.^t "not being a Minor." In the 16.^th Line
of the 4.^th Page, after the Word, "been" add the following Words,
Viz.^t "acknowledged and." In the 20.^th Line of the same Page, add,
after the Word, "Conveyance," the following Words, Viz.^t "ac-
knowledged and," or leave out entirely the Recital and Enacting
Clause to which the above Amendments in the fourth Page apply.
And the Bill, entitled, An Act continuing an Act for imposing
an additional Duty of Two Pounds per Poll on all Negroes imported
into this Province: Indorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly,
Nov. 22, 1766: Read the second Time and will pass.
