D. Dulaney, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Bill, entitled, an Additional Supplementary Act to the Act, en-
titled, An Act for quieting Possessions, enrolling Conveyances &c.a
Indorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly, November 22, 1766:
Leave out the Words "or Effects" in the 11.th Line of the 3.d Page.
After the Words, "Covert," in the 13.th Line of the same Page, add
the following Words, Viz.t "not being a Minor." In the 16.th Line
of the 4.th Page, after the Word, "been" add the following Words,
Viz.t "acknowledged and." In the 20.th Line of the same Page, add,
after the Word, "Conveyance," the following Words, Viz.t "ac-
knowledged and," or leave out entirely the Recital and Enacting
Clause to which the above Amendments in the fourth Page apply.
And the Bill, entitled, An Act continuing an Act for imposing
an additional Duty of Two Pounds per Poll on all Negroes imported
into this Province: Indorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly,
Nov. 22, 1766: Read the second Time and will pass.

Signed by Order, U. Scott, Cl. Up. Ho."

An Act for relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some
Aggrievances in the Prosecution of Suits at Law, &a.
And an ingrossed Bill, entitled, An Act to enable the Justices of
Charles County to assess and levy on the Taxable Inhabitants, of
Trinity Parish, a Quaintity of Tobacco, &.a Were severally read and
assented to, and sent to the Upper House, with the Paper Bills, by
M.r Dent, and M.r Hall, of Balt.
J. Ridout, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker, a
Petition of Moses Frampton, in Caecil County Goal ; Indorsed, "By
the Upper House of Assembly: Referred to the Consideration of the
Lower House:"
Which Petition was here read, and ordered to lye on the Table.

Richard Lee, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Bill, entitled, An Act for licensing Hawkers and Pedlars: In-
dorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly, November 22, 1766:
Read the second Time, and will pass, with the following Amend-
ments, Viz.t After the Word, "Act," in the first Line of the last
Page, insert the Word, "to."
Signed by Order, U. Scott, Cl Up. Ho."

The Petition of Mayberry Helmes was referred till Thursday next
On Motion, that a Committee be appointed to bring in a Bill for
the Public Claims, and for emitting Bills of Credit, and for other
Purposes therein mentioned.
