M.r Hanson appeared in the House.
M.r Beall appeared in the House.
Ordered, That M.r Jacob, and M.r Tyler, do go with that Gentle-
man to the Upper House, to see him take the Oath of Abjuration,
prescribed by the Act of Parliament made last Session. They return,
and acquaint M.r Speaker, that Gentleman did take the Oath afore-
said, and subscribed the same.
T. Ringgold, Esq hath Leave of Absence
R. Lee, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker, the
following Paper Bills Viz.t
An Act continuing an Act, entitled, An Act, for amending the
Staple of Tobacco &.a And the Act to repeal Part of an Act, entitled,
An Act for destroying Crows and Squirrels in particular Counties
&c.a severally indorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly," The
ingrossed Bill whereof this is the Original, is read and assented to.
B. Calvert Esq from the Upper House delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Bill, entitled, An Act for the building a Vestry at Chester Church
in Kent County, Nov. 13, 1766 Read the first and second Time, by
especial Order, and will pass

Which Bill was read here and passed for ingrossing
D. Dulany, Esq and Col. Hooper, from the Upper House, acquaint
M.r Speaker, that the Governor requires the immediate Attendance
of the Lower House in the Council Chamber
M.r Speaker left the Chair, and with the Members of the Lower
House, went to the Council Chamber, and presented to the Governor,
an ingrossed Bill, entitled, An Act to repeal Part of an Act, entitled,
An Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco &c.a An ingrossed
Bill, entitled, An Act to repeal Part of an Act for destroying Crows
and Squirrels &.a Which Bills his Excellency past into Laws in the
usual Manner. M.r Speaker, with the Members of the Lower House,
returned, and resumed the Chair.
The House adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock
