Richard Lee, Esq from the Upper House delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Petition of the Vestry of Trinity Parish, in Charles County, and
the Freeholders of Benedict Hundred in said Parish, a Petition of
James Elliott, & others, Inhabitants of Baltimore County, a Petition
of James Smith, Prisoner in Saint Mary's County Goal, and a
Petition of Mary Hicks, a Prisoner in Baltimore County Goal;
severally indorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly: Referred to
the Consideration of the Lower House." Which Petitions were
read here the first Time, and ordered to lye on the Table.

The Bill entitled, An Act continuing an Act, entitled, An Act for
amending the Staple of Tobacco &a was sent to the Upper House
by M.r Grahame, and M.r Sulivane.
J. Ridout, Esq from the Upper House, delivers to M.r Speaker,
the Bill, entitled, An Act continuing an Act, entitled, An Act for
amending the Staple of Tobacco &c.a Indorsed, "By the Upper
House of Assembly, Nov.r 11.th 1766. Read the first and second
Time by especial Order and will pass.
