Mess..^rs Willson and Wright bring from the Lower House a Bill
Entitled A Supplementary Act to the Act Entitled An Act for the
Speedy Trial of Criminals and ascertaining their Punishment in the
County Courts when prosecuted there and for Payment of Fees
due from Criminal Persons, which was read the first and second
time by Especial Order and will Pass
Read the second time the Bill Entitled An Act for Trial of all

Matters of Fact in the several Counties where they have arisen or

shall arise and will Pass with the following Amendments

In the eighth Line of the first Page insert the Word "any"
betwixt the Words "that" and "two."

In the same Line Strike out the Words "on each side of the
Bay" and insert them betwixt the Words "Delivery and" in the
tenth Line of the same Page.
In the fourth Line from the Bottom of the same Page, insert
the Words "to serve" betwixt the Words "aforesaid" and "on"

In the Sixth Line of the second Page Strike out the Words "on
the Eastern Shore" and insert in the same Line betwixt the Words
"aforesaid" and "or the following Words Viz..^t "to serve on the
Eastern Shore"

In the fifth Line from the Bottom of the second Page insert the
Words "tending to" instead of the Word tendering.

Make the same Alteration in the last Line of the same Page

In the fourth Line of the third Page Strike out the Word
"Twenty" and insert the Word "fourteen"

Strike out the Proviso beginning in the seventh Line of the third
Page and ending in the Ninth Line of the same

In the fourteenth Line of the fourth Page insert the Word
"twelve" betwixt the Words "said" and "Persons."

After the Proviso at the Bottom of the Sixth Page, insert the fol-
lowing Clauses Viz.^t See fol.^o 50 of the Printed Act Sect: 18 and 19.

In the first Line of the Ninth Page insert the Word "Adjourned"
betwixt the Words "the" and Provincial.

In the second and third Lines of the same Page Strike out the
Words "April Term in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand seven
hundred and Sixty Six" and insert in the place thereof the Words
"Said Court.
In the second and third Lines from the Bottom of the last Page
