466 Charles County Court Proceedings. 1671—1674.
Liber E and Further tht the said Tho: Allanson his heirs and Assignes shall
and will from tyme to tyme & All tymes heereafter dureing the space
of seaven yeares, Att the reasonable request and att the Proper cost
and chardge of him the said John Possey in the law his heyrs and
Assignes make, doe, execute, and suffer, and cause to be made done
Executed & suffered All and every such Further And Other act or
Actes, thinge or thinges, device or devices, Assurance or Assurances
whatsoever Requisite in the Premisses For the better Assureing and
more sure makeing of the said bargained Premises unto him the sd
John Possey his heirs and Assignes for ever bee it by it by inrolment
of theis Presents Fine feofment or otherwayes or by any such Law-
full wayes or meanes as by him the said John Possey or his Or their
Councell Learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised Advised or
required, In Witnesse whereof the Parties to theis Indentures have
interchangeably hereunto sett their handes and seales the day & year

March the 26th (1674) Received then of John Posse the sume of
foure shillings sterling for the Alienation of the sd two hundred
acres of Land I say Recd p me John Allen sherife
Memorandum That full and Peaceable Possession in Livery and
Seizein of the landes and tenements wthin mentioned wth the Ap-
purtenances was given and delivered by the wthin named Tho:
Allanson to the wthin named John Possey accordeing to the Forme &
Effect of the wthin written deed ths 28th of May Annoq Domini

John Hill Acklowledgeth this Inseuing Conveyance of land unto
John Wrighte
This Indenture made the 10th day of march 1672 by and between
John Hill of the county of Charles county Planter Administratour
of the goodes Chattells Landes and Tenemts of Thomas Wentworth
late of the same County and Province deceased of the one part and
John Wright of the same County and Province Mercht of the Other
Parte, Witnesseth tht the said John Hill For and in Consideration
of Two thousand poundes of Tobacco in hand payd to him, before the
Insealing and Delivery of these Presents by the Aformentioned John
Wright The receipt whereof the said Hill doth heereby Acknowledge
Himself to be fully satisfyed contented and payd and thereof and
Every Parte and Parcell Thereof doth Clearly Acquitt Exonerate and
dischardge the sd John Wright his heirs Executors and Administra
