Memorandum That full Possession of the sd Land by livery and Liber E
Seizin with Turfe & Twigge was Given By the wthin named Jobe
Corver unto the wthin named Will Grant the day and year wthin
written In the Presence of us Thomas Corke

Thomas Allanson acknowledgeth the Inseuing Conveyance of Land
unto John Possey
This Indenture made ths 28th day of may Annoq Domini 1673
Between Tho: Allanson of Charles County of the one Part & John
Possey of the County & Province of Marialand Planter of the other
part Witnesseth thtt the said Tho: Allanson As well and for and in
Consideration of the quantity of fower thousand pounds of tobacco
in Cask And Billes being past before the Ensealing and delivery
hereof by the said John Rossey the receipt whereof The said Tho:
Allanson doth heerby acknowledge and thereof and every part &
parcell thereof doth hereby Absolutely and cleerly Exonerate Acquitt
& dischardge the said John Possey his heyres Executrs Administratrs
and Assignes by thesse presentes hath given granted bargained
Aliened sould Enfeofed and Confirmed and by thesse Presentes doth
give grante Alien sell Enifeofe and Confirme unto him the said John
Possey his heyres & Assignes for ever All thtt Parcell of land called
St Johns lying in Charles County beginning Att a bounded Oake a
bound Tree of A Parcell of lande Called Jerricoe, standing in the
woodes on the East side of the main Fresh runne of Nangemy
Creek or Avon River called Poynton Creek running Thence south
ninety perches To a bounded black Oake standinge neare a bounded
Pickickcory of John Wardes running thence west twoo hundred
seaventy sixe Pearches to a bounded red oake upon A Playne thence
North one hundred and Fifty Perches to A bounded white Oake
thence untill it comes to the first bound Tree, containing Two hun-
dred Acres more or lesse Now in the tenour or occupation of him
the said Tho: Allanson or his Assignes together wth all the rightes &
benefittes thereunto helongeing and Alsoe all Patents deedes write-
inges and Evidences Touching or concerning the same To Have and
to hold the said parcell of land wth all and Singuler the said bargained
Premisses unto him the said John Rossey his heyres & Assignes to
the onely Proper use use and behalfe of him the sd John Rossey
his heires and Assignes for Ever and the said Tho: Allanson for
himself e his heyres Executrs or administratr doth hereby covenant
and grant to and wth the sd Joh Rossey his heirs and Assignes tht he
the said Tho: Allanson His heyres Executors and Administratours
the said Parcell of land and alsoe all other the Bargained Premises
unto him the said John Possey his heyres and Assignes Against All [fol. 112]
Persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for Ever defende by
thesse Pressents the Rentes and Services heareafter to become dew
to the Lord Proprietor for the same alwayes excepted & Foreprized
