406 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—1674.

         Liber E    bargained prmisses unto him the said Minns his heyres and assignes
               forever to the only propper use & behoofe of him the Said Minns
               his heyres and assignes forever and I the said Christopher for my-
               selfe my heyres Executrs and Administrtrs doe hereby covenant and
               grant to & wth the said Minns his heyres and assignes tht I the
               said Breams my heyres Executrs & Administratrs the Said parcell
               of Land and all other the bargained prmisses unto him the said
         Efol. 74]  Edward Minns his heyres and assignes agt all psons wtsoever Shall
               & will warrant and forever defend by these prsents the rents &
               Services hereafter to become due to the Lord Propryetary for the
               same allways excepted & foreprized and farther tht the said Breames
               his heyres Executrs & Adminrs Shall and will from tyme to tyme and
               at all tymes hereafter dureing the space of Seven yeares at the
               reasonable request and at the prop cost and charge of him the said
               Minns in the Law his heyres and assignes make doe & Suffer and
               cause to be made done and Suifred all and every Such farther act or
               acts thing or things assureance or assureances wtsoever requesite
               in the prmisses for the better assureing and more Sure makeing of
               the said Bargained prmisses unto him the said Edward Minns his
               heyres and assignes forever be it by enrollmt of these prsents fyne
               feofmt or otherwayes or by any Such other law full wayes or meanes
               as by him the said Minns his heyres or assignes or his or theyre
               Councell learned in the Law Shall be reasonably devised advised or

                 Know all men by these prsents tht I Christopher Breames of
               Charles County in the Province of Maryland Plantr doe by these
               prsents authorize ordaine and appoynt my trusty and well beloved
               Freind Edward Price of the aforesd County and Pro: my true and
               lawfull Attorney for me and to my use to Signe Seale deliver and
               acknowledge in Court one parcell of Land as by the Conveyance will
               at large appeare unto Ed: Minn of the aforesd County ratefyeing
               giveing and granting unto my said Att by the Tenur of these prmisses
               my full power to act to all intents and purposes as if I my Selfe might
               or could doe if I were psonally prsent my Self e ratefyeing and hold-
               ing fyrme and Stable wtsoever my said Att shall lawfully doe or
               cause to be done in or about the said prmisses by virtue of these
