374 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—1674.
Liber E Hussey to the Jno Hackister and from the said Hackister to Thomas
King and from the Said King unto Gerrard Breeden but now lastly
in the possession of Ralph Coates wch sd pceil of land lyeth scituated
and on the east Side of the fresh of Avon river formerly called
Nangemy Creeke in Charles County next adjoyneing to the land of
James Lyndsyes westermost bound tree it being apickickory tree
on the North by a lyne drawne east from the sd pickickory for the
lenght two hundred twenty five pches on the east by a lyne drawne
South for bredth one hundred and fifety pches unto the land of the
sd James Lyndsy and on the west wth the sd land conteyneing by
estimacon two hundred and fifety acres be the same more or less
being lastly in the possession and occupacon of Gerrard Breeden
but now absolutely granted unto the said Coates and confirmed all
and Singular wch sd peell of land wth all and Singular its houses
and buildings Stricturyes or Ediforyes wtsoever thereunto belonging
together wth all the Orchardes Gardens Pastures feedeings Comons
comodetyes or Hereditamts w*soever unto the said pcell appertaine-
[fol. 59] ing To have and to hould the said parcell of land and all and Singular
the prmisses before menconed to be hereby bargained and Sould wth
the appurtinances and every part and parcell thereof wtsoever before
named or recited unto the said Ralph Coates his heyres Executrs
and Administrators forever yeilding and payeing yeareiy the Lord
Proptyetaryes rents for the said parcell or tract of land in manner
and form as is in the Pattent of the said land Expressed, and the
said Gerrard Breeden for himselfe his heyres Executors and Ad-
ministrators doe covenant grant and agree to and wth the said Ralph
Coates his heyres Executrs and Assignes and every of them tht he
the Said Coates his heyres Executors Administrators and Assignes
Shall and may quietly hould occupy possess and enjoy all and
Singular the prmisses before by these prsents bargained and sould
and every part and parcell thereof wth every the Rights members
and appurtinances wthout the lawfuli lett trouble or demand of or
by the sd Breeden, or of or by his heyres Executors or Administrators
or any or either of them or of or by any other pson or psons lawfully
claimeing by from or under him them or any of them or theyre or
any of theyre uses of by or from any of theyre claimeing by from
or under him them or any of them or any other pson or psons
wtsoever, as ailso accquitted and discharged and rest harmless of
and from all former and other bargaines Sales and estates former
leases Titles Dowers Rightes or Titles of Dowers Joyntures In-
tayles Rent charges Recognezances Judgmts Execucons titles troubles
charges and demandes wtsoever had made done or comitted willingly
or wittingly Suffered to be comitted by the said Breeden his heyres
or Assignes or any of them or to theyre or any of theyre uses or by
any of theyre Titles Estates meanes or procurethts or of any theyer
or any former Possessors of theyre said Tract of Land that is above
named, and the Said Gerrard Breeden for him Selfe his heyres
