LiberE peaceably and quietly have hold occupy possess and injoy all and

parcell thereof wth every the rights membrs and appurtenances wthout
the lawfull lett suite trouble eviccon expullcon interupcon or demand
of or by the sd George Langham or by his heyres Executrs Ad-
ministratrs of or by any or either of thm or of or by any other pson
or psons wtsoever lawfully claimeing from by or undr thm or any
of thm or theyre or any of theyre uses or by from or there or any
of there titles Estates meanes or procuremts as allso acquitted and
discharged or wthin convenient tyme after reasonable request made
well and sufficiently saved and kept harmless of and from all man-
ner of former and other bargaines Sales Estates former leases titles
dowers rights or title of dowers Joyntures uses intayles wills rents
charges rent Services arrearages of rents Statutes Recognizances
Judgmts Execucons Titles troubles charges and demandes wtsoever
hath made done wittingly or willingly suffered by the sd Langham
his heyres or Assignes or any of thm or to theyre or any of theyre
uses, or by theyre or any of theyre titles Estates meanes or procuremts
and the Langham for himselfe his heyres Executrs and Ad-
ministratrs all and singuler the before bargained prmisses th theyre
appurtenances, and every part and parcell thereof unto the sd Thomas
Maris his heyres Executrs Administratrs and assignes to the intent
and meaning aforesd shall and will forever warrt and defend by these
prsents In witness whereof the partyes first above named to these
prsent Indentures have interchangeably set theyre handes and Seales

Edmond Lindsy and Gerrard Browne acknowledge this deed of
Land unto John Walters
This Indenture made this eight day of January one thousand six
hundred and seventy betwixt Gerrard Browne of Charles County
planter and Edmond Lindsy of the same County and Province Plantr
of the one party, and John Waters of the same County and Province
[fol. 10] of the other party Witnesseth that the sd Gerrard Brown And Ed-
mond Lindsy as well for and in consideracon of the quantety of
two thousand pounds of tob and caske to them in hand payd by the
John Waters the receipt whereof the sd Gerrard Browne and
Edmond Lindsy doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every
part and parcell thereof doth hereby absolutely and clearely exoner-
ate acquitt and discharge the sd John Waters his heyres Execrs
Administratrs and Assignes by these prsents hath given granted
bargained aliened enfeofeed sold and confirmed and by these prsents
