         Liber D Daniell Johnson Plt Came & appeared to presecute the Suite by
               him commenced agt Henry Moore for the sume of five hundred
               eighty six pounds of tob:
                Henry Moore Deft came alsoe & appeared to defend the suite
               comenced agt him by Daniell Johnson whereupon the plts Declaracon
               was reade vizt
                The sd Dàniell complaineth Agt the sd Henry for tht whereas the
               said Henry by a certaine writing Obligartory under his hand & Seale
               beareing Date the 17 Day of July in the xxxviii yeare of the
               Dominion of Caecilius Annq Domi 1669 did become bound unto
               him the sd Daniell the sume of five hundred eighty six pounds of
               tob in portobacco Creeke on or before the 10 of Octor in the same
               yeare as by the sd writing here in Court by the sd Daniell produced
               more att large may appeare nevertheless the sd Henry his sd obli-
               gacon little regarding but deviseing a fraudulently intending him
               the sd Daniell of the sd sume of 586 lb of tob to deceive the sd sume
               of 586 lb of tob to the sd Daniell hath not satisfied according to his
               obligacon in tht behalf e passed but doth altogether refuse to pay
               the same whereupon the sd Daniell saith he hath loss to the valew
               of 800 lb of tob & thereupon he bringeth his Suite
         [p. 129] Whereupon the plt produced the sd Henry Moores bill wch the sd
               Moore could not deny to be his Act & Deed It was therefore ordered
               tht the sd Henry Moore Deft pay unto Daniell Johnson Plt the sd
               suiñe of five hundred eighty six pounds of tob wth Costs & Chargs
               of suite or else Execution.

                Daniell Johnson Plt came to prosecute the suite by him comenced
               agt Samll Fendall
                Samll Fendall Deft came also & appeared to defend the suite
               comenced agt him by Daniell Johnson Whereupon the plts Declaracon
               was reade
                The sd Daniell Complaineth agt the sd Samll for tht whereas the
               sd Samll by two certaine writings under his hand beareing Date the
               tenth Day of February 1668 did become bound unto him the sd
               Daniell to dd unto him the sd Daniell one warrt for one hundred
               Acres of Land in his owne name by the last of Aprill in the same
               yeare & to pay unto the sd Daniell the sume of three hundred & tenn
               pounds of tobacco never the less the sd Samll his said obligation
               little regarding but minding & fraudulently intending him the sd
               Daniell of the sd Warrant for one hundred Acres of Land & the sd
               sutñe of three hundred & tenn pounds of tob to deceive the sd warrt
               for 100 Acres of Land hath not delivered nor the sd sume of 310 lb
               of tob to the gd Daniell hath not yet pd According to his obligacon
               passd as aforesd but doth altogether refuse to pay or satisfy the
               same whereupon the sd Daniell saith he is damnified & hath Loss
               to the Valew of 900 lb of tob whereupon he bringeth his suite
