[p. 105] Henry Aspinall acknowledgeth this ensueing Conveyance to Henry
Fletcher
This Indenture made the 14 of Septemr 1669 between Henry
Aspinall of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Planter
of the one parte & Henry Fletcher of the sd County & province Planter
Witnesseth tht the sd Aspinall for & in Consideracon of 2400 lb of
Tobacco & Cask to him in hand pd by the sd Fletcher before the
delivery of these Indentures the receipt thereof & of every part &
pcell thereof the sd Aspinall doth hereby acknowledge himself fully
satisfied & paid doth for himself his heirs Exetrs Admitrs & Assgs
Assigne set and make over unto the sd Fletcher to him his his heirs
Exetrs Admtrs or Assgs from him the sd Aspinall his heires Exetrs
Admitrs & Assgs All tht parcell of Land lying scituating being on
the East side of Piscatoway River to the Northward of a bay in the
sd river called Goos bay begining att a marked Oake by the river
side runing north east up the sd river for breadth seaventy five
pearches to a marked oake bounding on the north by a line drawne
east & be north for Ienght 320 perches on the east by a line drawne
south south west from the end of the east & by north line 75 perches on
the south by a line drawne from the south south west line unto a
markd oak by the river side on the west by the sd river Containeing
& now laid out for 150 Acres more or less together wth all its rights
Jurisdictions & Appurtenances there unto belonging or in any manner
of ways appertaineing together wth all houses Edifices buildings
barnes stables orchards Gardens & Appurtenances therunto belonging
or in any manr of way appertaineing together wth all woods under-
woods feedings pastures Comon of pastures there unto belonging
or appertaineing to have & to hold the sd parcell of land & every part
& parcell thpreof to him the sd Fletcher his heirs Executors Admstrs
or Assgs forever in free & Comon Socage by fealty for all services
yeelding & paying for the same yearly unto the right Honbi the Ld
Propritary & his heirs Lds & Proprietarys of the Province of Mary-
land the yearly rent of three shillings sterling or the full valew
thereof in such Comoditys as he or they or his or their officer or
officers appointed to Collect or receive the same shall accept in
discharge thereof And the sd Henry Aspinall doth hereby further
Covenant grant & agree for him his heirs Exetrs & Admrs for ever
to & wth the sd Fletcher his heirs Exetrs Admtrs & every of thm from
time to time & at all tims hereafter shall & will warrant & forever
defend the sd parcell of land & every part & parcell thereof together
wth all its rights Jurisdictions & Appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in any wayes Appertaineing unto him the sd Fletcher his heirs
Exetrs Admtrs & Assgs for ever agt all maner of person or persons
wtsoever lawfully claiming by from or under him the sd Aspinall
