Your Committee beg leave further to observe that it appears by
Reports of the Committee, May 17.th 1748 and September 17.th
1756, they had Information from Mr Nicholas Hyland, that there
was then in the Hands of the Widow & Executrix of William
Rumsey, late of Caecil County, as s.d M.r Hyland was informed, near
One hundred Pounds remaining of the 305 p Taxable, delivered out
to the several Counties, which the s.d Widow was ready to pay when
required, & it does not appear to your Committee, that the said Sum
hath ever been paid into the Office, And your Committee also
observe, that regular and Satisfactory Accounts have not hitherto
been returned from several of the Counties of such Money, & they
apprehend there may be still Balances found Due from many of
Them on those Monies, were proper Inquiry made therein. All
