the aforesaid Counties who is hereby required to burn or otherways
destroy the same and give the Person so bringing such Fox's Head
a Certificate thereof shall be allowed for every Such Head in the
County Levy the Quantity of twenty Pounds of Tobacco

Provided always that no Person whatsoever other than those who
shall be Residents in the aforesaid Counties of Kent and Queen
Ann's shall be entituled to Such Reward as is herein before directed
nor any Such Residents untill he she or they, Shall first make Oath
before a Justice of the Peace (or affirmation if a Quaker) or make ap-
pear by the oath or Affirmation (if a Quaker) of some other Credible
Person that such Fox was to his her or their knowledge or the
knowledge of such other Credible Person actually killed in the
County where the allowance is prayed,

Provided also that the Sum allowed for every Fox's Head Shall
and may be collected paid and discharged by the Inhabitants of the
said Counties of Kent and Queen Ann's respectively as other publick
and County Levies are collected paid and discharged

Be it Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary
by and with the advice and Consent of his Lordships Governor
and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority
of the same, that there Shall be allowed to Jonas Green of the
