consoled from the Reflection that we have done every Thing in our
Power to effectuate public and private Happiness

One of our Members now lying dangerously ill in the Small Pox
and the just Fears of many others of that infectious and dangerous
Disorder will make it impossible to keep a sufficient Number of our
Members much long.r together to compose an House we therefore
request your Honours speedy and final Determination as to the
Passage of the Journal which Event only can make the Continuance
of the Session Useful or necessary

J. Ridout Esq.r from the Upper House delivers to M.r Speaker
the following Paper Bills Vizt
A Bill Entituled an Act for the Speedy and effectual Publication
of the Laws of this Province and for the Encouragement of Jonas
Green of the City of Annapolis Printer
And a Bill Entitled an Act for laying out Anew and selling and
ascertaining the future Bounds and Limits of S.t Lukes Christ Church
and S.t Johns Parishes in Queen Anns County and of S.t Pauls
Parish lying partly in Queen Anns and partly in Talbot County
Which Paper Bills were severally Indorsed By the Upper House
of Assembly 17.th Dec.r 1765 The Ingrossed Bill whereof this is
the Original is read and assented to
Signed by Order UScott Cl Up Ho.

The Message brought in Yesterday by Thomas Johnson Esq.r
was read the Second Time by the Clerk approved by the House and
Ordered to be fairly Ingrossed

Thomas Johnson Esq.r brings in the before mentioned Message
