Baltimore Town in Baltimore County Indorsed "By the Upper House
of Assembly Nov.r 26. 1765 Read the Second Time and will pass.

On Reading the Amendments proposed by the Upper House to
the Bill Entituled An Act to prevent the Mischiefs arising from the
Multiplicity of Useless Dogs &c Ordered That a Message be prepared
and sent to the Upper House signifying to which Amendments this
House doth and to which it doth not agree And that Thomas Ring-
gold Esq.r and M.r Grahame do prepare and bring in a Message
accordingly
Thomas Ringgold Esq.r brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker A
Bill Entitled A Supplementary Act to the Act Entitled an Act relating
to the Standard of English Weights and Measures Also a Bill En-
titled an Additional Supplementary Act to the Act for the Encourage-
ment of Learning and erecting Schools in the several Counties within
this province And the Bill Entitled An Act to aid defective common
Recoveries Which Bills were severally Indorsed Read the first Time
and Ordered to ly on the Table
The House adjourns 'till the Morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock

contained in the s.d Petition and make Report thereof to the House
The Petition of John Barnes praying Releasement he being de-
tained in the Custody of the Sheriff of Calvert County on Execution
at Suit of many Creditors for Debts which he is unable to satisfy
