Bill to prevent the Navigation of Potomack River being obstructed
Ordered that Thomas Johnson Thomas Ringgold Esq.rs and Col.o
Cresap do prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly
On Motion of Thomas Johnson Esq.r Leave is given to bring in a
Bill to aid defective Common Recoverys
Ordered that Tho.s Johnson Samuel Wilson Tho.s Ringgold and
Henry Hollyday Esq.rs do prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly
On Motion of Thomas Johnson Esq.r Leave is given to bring a
Supplementary Bill to the Act Intitled an Act for Improving the
Staple of Tobacco &c
Ordered that Thomas Johnson Thomas Ringgold Daniel Wolsten-
holme Henry Hollyday Esqrs Mr Grahame J. Goldsborough Samuel
Wilson Esq.rs do prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly

prepare the Bill for regulating Ordinarys
Mr Buchanan is added to the Committee appointed to inspect the
Office & proceedings of the Commissioners of the paper Currency
Office
J. Ridout Esq.r from the Upper House delivers to Mr Speaker
a petition of Samuel Turnbridge a languishing prisoner in Ann
Arundel County Goal praying to be released from Indorsed By the
Upper House of Assembly Read and referred to the Consideration
of the Lower House of Assembly which Petition was read here the
first Time and Ordered to lye on the Table
