1761 The Collectors for Land Tax for Prince Georges County from
the 25th of March 1760 and the Excise from the 29th of September
1760
The Clerk of the same County has neglected to return a List of
Wheel Carriages in 1760 and the Sheriff to pay it, the year before was
£28.. 1 5...3 & the year after was f 32.. 12...3 the Collector of the Excise
of Charles County did not render an account of the Excise from
September 1757 till November 1759 and then the whole for that time
was but £i6..i7..8
The Sheriff for Wheel Carriages in 1760......... 17.. 11.. 0
and for Batchelors Tax in 1760................. 32...15.. 0
and for 1761 has neither returned List nor paid the Batchelors

Tax, the collector of the Land Tax of the Same County from the
25.th of March 1761 and the Collector of the Excise for same County
from same time, The Sheriff of Calvert County for Batchelors Tax
in 1759 and 1760, the Collector of the Land Tax from the 25.th of
March 1761, The Sheriff of Ann Arundel County for fines due
for Selling Liquors without Licence 1758 £4.. 15.. o The Sheriff of
Baltimore County for Wheel Carriages 1757 £3...7.. 3 The Clerk of
Cecil County for Stamps from July 1761, The Sheriff and Collector
of Excise and Land Tax of same County has rendered no Accounts
nor paid any Moneys for Wheel Carriages in 1755 and 1756 nor
for Billiard Tables nor Batchelors Tax for 1756 and 1757 or for
Excise or Land Tax from June 1756 to November 1757, The
Collector of Excise for same County from March 1761, The
Collector of Excise for Kent County has rendered no Account nor
paid any Excise from June 1756 to Dec:r 1756 and the Sheriff for
said County owes for Batchelors Tax in 1756 £29.. 14.. 2
for Ordinary Licences in Same year.............. 35-.T4-. 2

The Collector of Excise for the same County has neither rendered
Account or paid Excise from the 2S.th of March 1759 to November
1759 nor Wheel Carriages in 1757 the amount of which was
f 52...13.. o The Clerk of Talbot County for Stamps from July
1761, The Sheriff of Somersett County for Batchelors Tax in 1761
and the Collector of Excise for same County from March 1761,
has paid nothing The Collector of Excise for Worcester County
for the Excise of part of the County from March 1760 to March
1761 and for all the Excise from March 1761 and the Collector
of the Land Tax the 25,th September 1760 and the Sheriff of
Billiard Tables in 1760 £2..i8..6 and for Wheel Carriages £5..i7..o
Your Committee do also find that on the Accounts delivered in by the
Collectors of the Excise the Common probate has been that the Sum
for which they then render the half years Account is the whole Sum
received by them to that time, That may truly be the case when the
Sum due for Liquors truly entered may be considerably more than
