shall be found or detected in Carrying or Transporting any Goods,
Wares, Commodities or Merchandizes whatsoever for him or herself
or any other with intent to Trade Commerce Deal or Traffick with
any Indian or Indians without this Province, such Goods, Wares,
Commodities and Merchandizes shall be liable to Seizure by any
Person or Persons whatsoever and such Person or Persons so Seiz-
ing the same Goods, Wares Commodities and Merchandizes shall at
the next County Court to be held for the County wherein such Seiz-
ure shall be made give Information to the Court who are hereby
Ordered and impowered to Condemn the same Goods to be sold at
Publick Auction; and the Money arising from such Sale after De-
ducting the Cost and Charges of such Condemnation And Sale to be
paid to the Person or Persons so Seizing the same Goods or if the
Seizure is made out of the Province then the Goods to be brought
within this Province and Prosecuted and Condemned at the next
Court that shall be held for the County next Adjacent to the place
where the Seizure shall be made

And to Prevent any Supplys of Amunition being Carried by any
of our Friends Indians of this Province to any Indian or Indians
out of this Province Be it Enacted by the Authority aforesaid that
it shall not be lawfull for any Person or Persons within this Province
to Sell or give to any Indian Woman or Child any Gun Powder
Shot or lead Whatsoever nor to any Indian Man within this Prov-
ince more than the Quantitys of one Pound of Gun Powder and six
Pounds of Shot or lead at any one Time and not those or lesser
Quantitys of Powder or Lead oftener than once in Six Months
under the Penalty of five Pounds Current Money for every Pound
of Gun Powder and for every six Pounds of Shot or Lead Sold or
given to any Indian or Indians Contrary to the true Intent and mean-
ing of this Act to the Informer or him or them who will sue for the
same to be recovered in the County Court where the Offence shall be
Committed together with the Costs of Suit.

And be it further Enacted by the Authority aforesaid by and with
the Advice and Consent aforesaid That all Sheriffs Constables and
other Peace Officers within this Province shall and are hereby Re-
quired to be Aiding and Assisting in the Execution of this Act
|

This Act to Continue untill the first day of November which shall
be in the Year one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty four and no
longer unless a Peace shall be before that time Concluded with the
said Enemy Indians and in such Case untill the Conclusion of such
Peace and no longer
