Committed for Amendments.
M^r Henry Steele, elected to Serve in this present general Assembly,
by the free Voters of Dorchester County, appeared in the house,
Orderd that M^r Ringgold and M^r Allen do go with that Gentleman
to the Upper house to See him there qualified, they return and
acquaint M.^r Speaker, they saw M^r Steele take the Several Oaths
to the Government required by Law. Subscribe the Oath of Abjura-
tion repeat & Sign the Test.

The Gentleman took his Seat in the house.
