Which bill was here read & passed for Ingrossing
Mr Murdock brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker, a Bill, Ent,d
an Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco, for preventing frauds
in his Majestys Customs, and for the limitation of Officers fees
which was read the first time, and Ordered to lye on the Table
The house Adjourns till the Morrow Morning at 8. of the Clock

The house met according to Adjournment, the Members were
Called and all appeared as Yesterday except Mr Goldsborough and
Col.o Tilghman.

Nov. 13

The proceedings were Read
Mr Henry Baker appeared in the house.
On Motion of Mr Ringgold, leave is given to bring in a Bill for the
Adjournmt of Frederick County Court.
M.r Ringgold brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker, a Bill, Ent.d
An Act for the Adjournment and continuance of ffederick County
Court, which was read the first and Second time by an especial
order, and will pass, and was Sent to the Upper house by M.r Key &
Mr Hammond
J. Ridout Esq.r from the Upper house delivers to Mr Speaker the
Bill Ent.d a Supplementary Act to the Act Ent.d an Act relating to
the Standard of English Weights and measures (Indorsed) By the
Upper house of Assembly 11.th Nov.r 1763.
Read the Second time and will pass, the forfeitures by the said
Bill being Applyed in the following manner; one third part thereof
to the Right Hon.ble the Lord Proprietary, his heirs and Successors,
for the Support of Government; One third part to the Publick for
defraying the County Charge, where the Offence shall be committed,
and One third to the Informer.

Richard Lee Esq.r from the Upper house delivers to Mr Speaker
the Bill Ent.d An Act for the preservation of the breed of fish, in
the rivers Susquehannah & Patomack (Indd) By the Uuuer House
of Assembly 12th Nov.r 1763. Read the 2.d time and will pass, with
the following amendments: Insert the word Patuxent in several
parts of the Bill after Patomack and the forfietures for the said
Bill being Applied in the following manner 1/3 part thereof to the R.t
Hon.ble the Lord Proprietary for the Support of Government, 4 part
