Capt Chapline Appeared in the house
M.r Benton Harris brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker an In-
grossed bill, Ent.d a Supplementary Act to an Act Ent.d An Act
for erecting a County School in Worcester County, and appointing
Visitors for the same which was Read & assented to, & Sent to the
Upper house with the Paper Bill, by Mr Magruder and Mr Ward.
Col.o Tilghman brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker a Bill Ent.d
An Act for preventing the Importation of German & french papists
& popish priests &c.a
The house Adjourns till 2, of the Clock

Post Meridiem.
The house met according to Adjournment &c.a
The house proceeded to tax the Bill, Ent,d an Act to Impower
John Paca Rob.t Adair Moses Hill & Margaret his Wife to Sell
and dispose of the Lands therein mentioned late the Lands of William
Hammond of Baltimore County deceased for the payment of the
debts of the said William Hammond
