Consideration and are in hopes you will not think them unreasonable
or unnecessary.

1.st That the Inspection be closed on the last day of July instead
of the 20. th of August

2.d In the Oath taken by the Masters of Vessels after the Words
"Stampt by some Inspector add" as by Law directed — that Pem-
bertons Warehouse at Oxford be suppressed and the house lately
belonging to Mr Gildart be Continued for the Oxford Inspection
3.d That no owner of any Warehouse be permitted to make any
private use whatever thereof whilst under Rent to the Public
4,th Bohemia Warehouse at John Hollands to be placed under
one Inspector who shall have f 20 Sallary and attend three Days in
a Week
5. That upon a new Inspectors receiving the house from the Old
One he shall make two lists of all Hogsheads of Tobacco then in
the house which the Old Inspector shall deliver well nailed lined &
fit for Shipping describing the Marks Numbers Gross, Tare, and
nett weight Stamped or marked thereon and Sign a receipt at the
foot of each List of such Tobacco to be given to the Old Inspector,
the One of which to be by him lodged with the Clerk of the County
in the County Court Office
6, The New Inspectors to be Answerable to the Owner so far as
to produce the hhds mentioned in the List but no farther and only
to the Old Inspector for any damage to the Tobacco for Negligence
in the time of the new Inspector

7, Sectn 33 Add to the Skippers Oath "that he will not wilfully
damage or Suffer to be damaged any such Tobacco, lay a penalty
on the Inspectors of five pounds that do not tender the Oath.

8. Add a Clause that no Captain of a Vessel taking freight shall
Transport any freight Tobacco from the Warehouses on board any
Ship, or Other Vessell in Open Boats or Vessels without good &
Sufficient Covering under the penalty of Ten pounds for every
Offence,

9, Sectn 51, make the Weights, 1500

10, That the people of Frederick County above Connegocheague,
from the inconvenient Situation of Justices of the peace in that
County be allowed to make Oath that they made no Tobacco before
either a Justice of the peace the Sheriff of the County or any of
his deputys The Certificate to be Signed by the person making the
Oath as well as the person before it was made and that the Sheriff or
his deputy to whom the Certificate is delivered to give a Receipt
for it

11, Sect,n 71, After the Word Warehouses, add purchase of
Tobacco Hogsheads.
