The house met according to Adjournment &c.a
On reading the 2.d time the Report brought in by Mr Murdock
from the Committee appointed to enquire into ways and means for
erecting a Colledge in this Province
Resolved that the house in the City of Annapolis which was in-
tended for a dwelling house for the Governor of this Province for
the time being be compleatly finished and made use of as the Colledge
proposed to be established within this Province and that the Sum of
£3000. Current money be allowed for the expences and charges men-
tioned in the Estimate contained in the said Report,
On progression in the 2d Reading of the Said Report the Question
was put that the sum of f 3000 therein mentioned be taken out of the
Mony now belonging to the Province in the hands of the Commis-
sioners of the Loan Office for the Uses in the same Report men-
tioned.
Resolved in the Affirmative
