A Message from the Lower House by Mess:rs Ringgold & Stoddert
By the Lower house of Assembly 18th. Nov:r 1763
May it Please your Honours

It being now three Weeks since we sent you the Bill for Estab-
lishing a College or Seminary of Learning in this Province we cannot
doubt but your Honours have duly Considered it and are come to some
Resolution thereon. If any Amendments to that Bill are by you
thought Expedient as the session has already ran to a great Length
and the approaching Season will become very disagreeable to Our
Sitting here, We hope you will Speedily propose them, that we may
have time to Consider them, We are the more urgent on this Occasion
because should not that Bill have a Passage, as the Regulation of
Ordinaries will expire with the Close of this session, We should
think ourselves much wanting in our Duty to our Constituents
should we Rise without using our best Endeavours to Continue in
some shape or other, that Regulation so use full and so necessary to
the Province

Signed p Order MMacnemara Clk. Lo. Ho.
