Page Viz:t Provided always that nothing in this Act contained shall
extend or be construed to extend so as to limit abridge, or restrain
the Jurisdiction of the High Court of Chancery of this Province in
any manner or respect whatsoever the said Court shall have the same
power Authority, and Jurisdiction in all and every Case as belonged
to and was exercised by the said Court before the making this Act
any thing herein contained notwithstanding

Benedict Calvert Esq:r

Read the second time the Bill Ent.d An Act for the more effectual
Securing of Orphans Estates, passed and sent by Richard Lee Esq.r

Read the second time the Bill for Tryal of all matters of Fact in
the several Counties where they have arisen or shall arise and will
not pass

Read the second time the supplementary Act to the Act Entituled
An Act relating to the standard of English Weights and Measures
and will pass the forfeitures by the said Bill being applied in the
following Manner 4 part thereof to the Right Honourable the Lord
Proprietary his Heirs and Successors for the Support of Govern-
ment 1/3 part to the Publick for defraying the County Charge where
the Offence shall be committed and 4 to the Informer Sent by John
Ridout Esq:r

Read the Second time the Bill for the Preservation of the Breed
of Fish in the River Susquehannah and Potomack and will pass
with the following Amendments Insert the Word Patuxent in Several
parts of the Bill after Potomack and the forfeitures by the said
Bill being applyed in the following manner 1/3 part thereof to the
Right hon.ble the Lord Proprietary for the Support of Government
4 part to his Lordships Governor for the time being residing in this
Province and 4 part to the Informer — Sent by Richard Lee Esq:r
