Mr. Harris brings in and delivers to Mr. Speaker, the following
Report: By the Committee appointed to examine into the Facts set forth
in the Petition of Mary Clajon, Administratrix or Executrix of
Gamaliel Butler, late of the City of Annapolis, deceased.
Your Committee having carefully examined into the Allegations
contained, do find, by an Account passed by the Commissary-
General, and lodged in the Prerogative Office, that the said Petitioner
hath fully administered her deceased Husband's Estate, and overpaid
the same Ninety-four Pounds Three Shillings and one Penny Half-
penny, and that there still remains several large Sums of Money due
from the said Deceased on Bonds and otherwise; which is humbly
submitted to the Consideration of the Honourable House.

On Motion, Leave was given, to bring in a Bill for lessening the
Allowance of the Members of the Upper and Lower Houses of
Assembly.
Ordered, That Mr. Allen, Mr. John Hall, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Small-
wood, and Mr. Gantt, do prepare and bring in the same.
Richard Lee, Esq; from the Upper House, delivers to Mr. Speaker,
the following Bills:

A Bill, entituled, An Act for Erecting a Public Warehouse at
Vienna-Town, in Dorchester County;
A Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled, An Act
for the Relief of such Persons as cannot find Surety for their
Appearance, to testify as a Witness against any Person arrested,
accused or prosecuted, for any Criminal Matter.

A Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled, An Act
for the more effectual destroying Crows and Squirrels in the
Counties of Kent, Queen-Anne's and Talbot, and for destroying
Red Foxes in the said Counties;

A Bill, entituled, An Act to impower the Justices of Somerset
and Worcester Counties to levy on the taxable Inhabitants of Cov-
entry Parish, partly in Somerset and Worcester Counties, the
Quantity of 62,400 Ibs. of Tobacco, for the Uses therein men-
tioned;

A Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled, An Act for
destroying of Crows and Squirrels in particular Counties;
A Bill, entituled, An Act continuing an Act, entituled, An Act,
for Repairing the public Roads in this Province, and the Supple-
mentary Act thereto.
Severally thus Indorsed, By the Upper House of Assembly, 14th
April, 1762. Read the first and second Time by especial Order,
and will Pass.
