His Excellency communicated to Mr. Speaker, the following
Messages:

Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly,
As I want to be at Newcastle the 22d of this Month, to attend a
Meeting of the Commissioners that are appointed to carry into
Execution the Articles of Agreement, which the Lord Proprietary
of this Province, and the Proprietors of Pennsylvania, have entered
into, for running divisional Lines between their respective Terri-
tories, I must press you to dispatch all the Business before You, as
well as that in particular which I recommended to you at the Open-
ing of this Session, so that a Conclusion may be put to it the End
of this, or the Beginning of the next, Week. Hor.o Sharpe.

11th April, 1762.
Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly,

The Commissary-General having informed me, that the external

Part of the South Porch of the Court-House, where the Records and
Papers of his Office are kept, is in so runinous a Condition, that
without speedy Repairs, that Office, and the Records and Papers
there, will be entirely open to Embezzlement of any Person, and to
the Weather; I think it my Duty to recommend it to both Houses
to appoint a Committee to inspect all the Public Buildings, and to
appropriate such a Sum, as may be necessary to make such Repairs
in all the Buildings, as may be thought expedient. Hor.o Sharpe.

I4th April, 1762.

[Which were Read, and Ordered to lie on the Table.]
The House adjourns till 2 of the Clock.
Post-Meridiem. The House met according to Adjournment.
