the Same. I am therefore to request of you that during Such his
Commands, you will upon every emergent Occasion, Correspond
and Co-operate with him in the Same Manner as you are enjoined
by Mr Secretary Pitts Letter to do with me, which must Prove of
Great Benefit to the Publick Service, as from my Removal from
hence into the back Country whether I may be called Soon it might
Prove very Prejudicial to the Safety and Security of the Southern
Provinces to wait for the Answers to any of the Letters you may
have Occasion to Write to me in Relation thereto, & I have Accord-
ingly directed Brig.r Gen. Stanwix to Correspond and Co-operate
with you in Like Manner
