698 Somerset County Court Proceedings, 1665-1668. Liber B No. 1 Samue!l Long for A valluable Consideracon in hand paid by Thomas Haward of the Countie & Province aforesd plantr the receipt whereof I doe hereby acknowledge & thereof & of every part & parcell thereof [p. 101]doe clearely & absolutely acquitt & Discharge the Said Thomas Haward his executrs & assignes for ever by these presents have given granted bargained & sold And doe by thesepresents giue grante al lienate bargaine and sell unto him the Said Thomas Haward his heires & assignes for ever all that the Said Devident or tract of Land soe to me granted as aforesd with all the Proffitts priviledges pat- tents writings Comodities & heriditaments to the Same belonging or in any wise Appertaining To have and to hold the Said Devident or tract of Land with all and every the appurtenances to him the Said Thomas Haward his heires executrs admrs &assignes for ever, to the onely use & behoofe of him his heires & assignes for ever to be holden of the Said Lord Proprietor for & under the rents & services by the Said originall recited pattent reserved; And I the Said Samu ell Long the Said Devident or tract of Land with the appurtenances before by these presents bargained & sold or hereby intended to be bargained & sold unto him the Said Tho: Haward doe for ever freely acquitt & Discharge the Same of & from all & all manner of former & other bargaines, grantes, sales forfeitures Joyntures, Dowries, Sur renders, and of & from all titles, incumbbrances Claimes & Demands of me mine heires, executrs admrs or assignes, & against all & every other persons whatsoever, I the Sd Samuell Long shall & will for ever hereafter warrant & defend by these presents In Wittnes whereof I the said Samuell Long doe hereunto Set my hand & seale this twenty six day of November in the yeare of or Lord one thousand Six hun dred Sixty Seaven Samuell Long Signed sealed & delivered (Seale) in the presence of Tho: Poole Daniell Curtis John Hillyards This Acknowledged in open Courte by Samuell Long At A Courte held for the Countie of Sommersett in the Province of Maryland the 26th day of November A° D° 1667 [p. 102] 21th January A° 1667 Mathew Armstrong & Stephen Bond entereth their accon of the Case against mr Henry Boston 2Ith Janr A° 1667 Mathew Armstrong & Stephen Bond entereth their accon of Debt against mr George Johnson 2Ith Janr A° 1667 Mathew Armstrong & Stephen Bond entereth their accon of the Case against mr George Johnson |
