Somerset County Court Proceedings, 1665 1668. 693 Capta William Thorne from the Day of the date of this order the Liber B No. 1 Full time of two yeares three months & ten dayes in any servis that Capta Thorne or his assignes shall thinke Fitt At A Courte helld for the Countie of Sommersett this 26th day of November A° D° 1667 Comrs prseflt vizt; mT William StevensmT John Winder Capta Will ThornemT Henry Boston mr James Jonesmr George Johnson Whereas mT Henry Boston Gaue order to William Wilikinson to secure a parcell of goods that did belong to John Barret deceased & Patrick Robinson Itt is ordered that William Wilikinson doe forth with deliuer to Patrick Robinson the goods that are in his Custodie wch mr Boston ordered him to take Care they being Found to be the goods of the said Patrick Robinson At A Courte helld for the Countie of Sommerset this 26th day of [p. 95] November A° D° 1667 Comrs present vizt; mr William Stevensmr John Winder Capta William Thorne mr Henry Boston mr James Jonesmr George Johnson Whereas Mathewe Armstrong & Stephen Bond peticioned the Court that there was due to them upon bill from John Marcum de ceased Nine hundred & sixteene pounds of tobacco & Caske Stephen Bond appeareth now in Courte Peter Elizey & John Nelison appeares as wittnes to the bill being sworne & the bill shewed them was asked whether that was John Marcums hand they made answer it was; Whereupon the Courte ordered that the administrator of the estate of John marcum deceased doe pay unto Mathewe Armstrong & Stephen Bond or assignes the summe of Nine hundred & sixteene pounds of tobacco & Caske 26 9br 1667 Tho: Poole withdraweth his accon of Damadge agst John Sherman 26 9br 1667 Henry Lewis withdraweth his accon of Debt agst John Okee 26th 9br 1667 Jeffery Minshall entereth his accon of the Case agst Robt Dorman 26th 9bT 1667 Jeffery Minshall supas Robert Lewin Thomas Carrell & Wilt Fur nis in the cause now depending betweene the sd Jeffery Minshall pit & Rout Dorman in an accon of the Case 26th 9br 1667 Charles Rattliffe entreth his accon of the Case agst Jinken Prise |
