  tayld of the left ear the right ear ear Cropt & a nick underneath the
  Crop with all her & their Increase for ever To Haue & to Hold use
  receiue & Inioy all & singuler the said Cow & Cow yearling men
  ciond with all her & their Increase; unto the said Oliue Barre wife to
  Phillip Barre aforesaid her heires & assignes & to the onely proper
  use & behoof of the said Oliue Barre her heires & assignes for ever
  freely peaceably & quietly without any Mannor of reclaime Challenge
  or Contradiction of me the said William Furnis my heirs executrs or
  assignes or of any other person or persons by my meanes title or
  pcuremt in any mannor or wise & without any accompt reckoning or
  answer there for to me or any in my Name; to be given rendred or
  don in time to come; soe tht Neithr I the said William Furnis my
  heires or assignes nor any other person or psons by us for us & in
  my Name or in the Name or names of us or any of us att time or
  times hereafter may aske Claime Challenge or demand in or to the
  prmises or any part thereof, any Interest right title use or posses
  sion; but from all action of right title Claime Interest use possession
  & demand thereof we & every of us to be utterly excluded & for
  ever debarred by these prseflts & I the said William Furnis my heirs
  executrs & assignes all the said Cow & Cow yearling with all her &
  their Increase aboue mentioned unto the said Oliue Barre her heires [p. 20]
  or assignes to the use aboue said, against all people as aboue men
  tioned shall warrant and defend by these prseflts In Wittnes whereof
  I haue hereunto sett my hand & seale this third day of July in the
  year of or Lord one thousand six hundred sixty & six

  Plannor of Enemessike one the easterne shore in the pvince of Mary
  land plantor & rebecca his wife send greeting Knowe yee tht wee
  Will Plannor & Rebecca for & in Consideration of one thousand
  foure hundred pounds of tobacco to us in hand payd before the sign
  ing sealing & deliuery hereof haue granted alliened bargained sould
  & Confirmed & by these prsents doe grant bargaine sell & Confirme
  unto Thomas Cotthingame of the shore & pvince aforesd Smith All
  tht one part or parcell of Land Called plannors adventture (cituate
  lying & being in Enemessike as by a pattent undr the great seale of
  the province aforesaid bearing date the eleventh day of July in the
  year of or Lord one thousand six hundred sixty & flue more playnely
  appeareth and allso the said William Plannor & rebecca his wife for
