500Talbot County Court Proceedings, 1662-1674. Liber BB Pounds of tobacoe and allsoe he Deliuered the said Henry Mathews No.2 thirty three pounds of lefe tobacoe all which goods the said Henry Mathews though often demainded doth Reffuse to sattisfie for to the sd Walter Rowles to his Damage of flue hundred Pounds of tobacoe: Henry Mathews Dr Imprimis to 2 Barills & of Indian Corne Was to be paid In kind to a psell of Porke Bacon & venison 100 to making a Sute of Cloathes for his wifeo6o to tobacoe in lefe 033 193 Mr Walter Rowles makes Oath to his Accompt Therefore the Courtt hath Ordred that Henry Mathews make present payment of two Barills and a halfe of Indian Come and one hundred & Ninty three pounds of tobacoe unto Walter Rowles with Cost of suite &c [p. 180] To the worshipll the Comisscońs for Talbott County the humble Petticon of Jno Hunt Sheweth that Jno Barnes late of this County deceased was & is Indebted to yor Petticoń the Sum of Six hundred Pounds of tobacoe Due by Bill yor Petticoń Craues that this worshpll Court wilbe Pleased to Order that yor Petticoń may be paid his Debt out of the Estate of the Said Deceaseds Jno Barnes & yor Petticoń Shall Ever Pray Jno Hunt makes his Bill Appeare the Courtt hath ordred that Jno Hunt Be Paid Six hundred Pounds of tobacoe out of the Estate of Jno Barnes Deceased To the worshipll the Comisscons For Talbott County the humble Petticon of Jno Curtis Sheweth that Jno Barnes Died In yor Petticońs house and allsoe yor Petticoń looked to the Deceaseds Cattle two Winters for which yor Petticoń Demaind Eight hundred Pounds of Tobacoe for my Charges & Paines In his Sicknes & my labour & Care of his Cattle yor Petticoń Craues Order of this Worshpll Court for the aboue Said Tobacoc & yor Petticoń Shall cuer pray The Courtt hath Ordered that Jno Curtis be Paid eight hundred Pounds of tobacoe out of the estate of Jno Barnes Deceased for his Charges in the said Barnes his Sicknes & his Care of the stocke To the worshipll the Comisscofls For Talbott County the humble Petticon of Owen Griffwith |
