at last her master came home & sd tht he had carried him away & sd
the sonn of a whore was gon farr enough now for he would Come
noe more to his master & further sath not marke

William Davis Aged one & thirty yeares sworne in open Court
saith that mrt Andrews Taylor came to work after Aprill Court with
Ellis Humphrey where words did pass tht Ellis Humphrey should
say to the Taylor that he was a foole if he served his master one
hower & further sath not marke
Will Davis
Morgon Joanes aged twenty fower yeares sworne in open Court
saith tht he had some bussiness over the Creek from his being &
when he was over the Creek, he heard some hoggs Cry; & as I
went along I see william Jackman sitting behinde a tree, by a fire &
pillowbeare to sitt on & I asked him if he would he would goe over
me & he said he would not but when he hollowed Ellis Humphwould fetch him ouer & further saith not Morgon J oanes
The Jurys Charge,
Gentlemen of the Jury yow shall dilligently & truly Inquire make
into the bussiness now depending betwixt Christopher Andrewes plt
& Ellis Humphery dft without partiallity favor or Mallice or any
other by respect but to the best of yor Consions deliuer in yot verdict
according to yor Evidence so help yow God.
The Jurys Verdict
The Juriors finde for the plantiff the sum of fifteene hundred
pounds of Tobb wth Costs of sute & soe wee say all
vincent Atchison foreman
Upon the verdict of the Jury This Court doth order tht the deft
doe pay to the plt fifteene hundred pounds of Tobb wth Costs of sute turne over
else Execucon
The defendeth desireth an Appeale to the next Proventiall Court
to be holden for the Province wch the Court doth Grant & doth order
that dft shall give in security to pay Treble damages in Case he be
Cast in the sute.
