Liber C Thomas Thurston, by henry howard his Atturney prferes a peticon
Ord : to the Cort for a debt by bill of Two thousand sixty & eight pounds
of Tobacco and Caske due unto the sd Thurston out of the estate of
Edmond Burton deceased: Edward Burton the Administrator ac
knowledgeing the sd debt to be Just & due: the Cort doth order that
prsent pay be made out of the sd Estate; else execucon
Mary Willkins prsented to this Cort by Henry Downes Cunstable
for haueing of a Bastard Childe:
The sd Mary Willkins, being there examined, And not able to make
appeare who is the father thereof (Alithough she hath formerly
slandered Capt John Vicaris to be the Father thereof) Therefore the
Cort doth order that shee maintaine the Childe, And for the slandering
of the sd Capt Vicaris The Cort doth order that shee shall haue thirty
Lashes on the bare back well Layd on: And to pay Charge & Cost of
Suite: &c
John True: Sworne Cunstable, for the upre hundrd
Robert Kent: Sworne Cunstable for the Lower hundrd County of
Kent
A warrant to the Cunstable of the up: hunderd, to bring the abouesd
Mary Willkins befor Mr Robert Dunn to receiue her punishmt ac
cording to the abouesd ordr: And allso to bring her to the next Cort
to answer her Contempt in departeing from the sd Cort wthout the
know!edg or Lycens thereof

Indyan Corne wch Thomas Heath owed to her husband at the tyme
of his Death, the wch corne the sd Heath had ordred John Maggison
to pay the wch Corne as yet is not payd: but the sd John Maggison
doth acknowledg to pay the sd barrell of Corne, unto the sd Barbra
Hill att the Crope
