     The humble peticon of Thö Bradnox
     Sheweth That ypr peticonrs wife haueinge giuen to her by Mistris
   Parker one of her sonnes, by name Francis Maulden & alsoe to your
   Petr as their owne Childe, yet notwithstandinge after your Petr had
   the said Childe aboute six yeares, & had beene at greate Charges in
   keepinge the sd Childe, Mrs Parker came to yor Petrs house aboute
   a Fortnight since and Forcably a pty of men tooke away the saide
   Childe & by the particular aduise of John Burage who doth stand to
   Justife the sd Action in the behalfe of the the said mrs Parker. The
   prmises Considered yor Petr Craues tht he may haue satisfation for
   the time hee hath kept the sd Childe wth all his Charges & Expences
   & yor petr shall euer pray.

     William Granger Aged 43 yeares or there âbouts Examined
   sworne in Court
     Saith That yor Depont wth mr Thomas Hinson was attendinge two
   dayes to come ouer to the Court which was the First day of Feb
   rewary last & there wee ware at the Boate & mended & Fited the Sayle,
   & we lanced the Boate & the voyolence of the weather Forct us tht
   wee weare preuented to be at tht Court & Further yot Depont saith not
                                    Wilt Granger

     The Court is appointed to be kept the First day of Aprill next
   ensuinge              Teste me John Cowrsey Clar
