The Court not findinge the sd Knapp guilty, & tht the Constables Testimony to be accepted, doth order that the sd william Hemsley shall pay cost of suyte Else Execn. Deliuerance Louly doth withdraw his suyt wth Gregory Murill & the suyt his wife Ann Murill. J on Salter Plant Ann Murill Defent Upon the prsentmt of Jon Salters peticon before any debate in this Cause, Gregory Murill in the behalfe of his wife doth Craue a Ref ferance for further Testimony, wch the Court hath granted there upon Teste me John Cowrsey CIar Morgan Williams beinge somoned to Court to take the office of a Constable hath readily accepted of the same & sworne to the sd office in open Court. Thomas Hill is prseflted For Constable of the Lower precinct of Kent County & to appeare next Court John Hardiman Alias Stoill beinge somoned to Court on a prsentmt for keepinge Company wth Jane Fox as his wife, after tht Capt Vaughan had questioned the sd Stoill & wth his consent had seperated them not beinge Lawfully Married. John Stoill hath confest that he did lye the sd Jane Fox, & Further saith that they haue liued together as man & wife And that he can prone that they are man & |
