   suffitient Corporall punishmt, And that shee shall on her Knees aske
   her Mr & Mrs Forgiuenesse, And promise amendmt for the future,
   wch the said maid there did in open Court, & her W to pay all the
   Charges in the suyte.

   John Smith Deft
     The Plt alledgeth tht the Deft priuately detained & Concealed his
   Sarut Sarah Tailer, And the Conestable Henry Gott declares tht he
   founde the sd Sarut wthin night in the house of John Smith. The Deft
   confesseth tht the maid was in his house, And tht he found her in the
   woods & brought her home to his owne house, but beinge weary that
   Eueninge he could not trancporte her that night, but did intend next
   morninge to conuey her to her mr or the Conestable or Else to some
   Maiestrate
     The Court haueinge Debated this Matter Longe and findeinge noe
   cleere proofe in the Cause to passe Judgmt upon hath wth the concent
   of the ptyes Refferanct the hereinge & Determininge hereof untill the
   next Court beinge the first day of Noü.

   Jon Deere Deft
     The Plt doth sue for the forfeiture of a bond of two thousand one
   hundred Pounds of Tob for wch there was bound ouer a plantacon a
   Cow & a Cropp of Tob the Deft prouinge all the sd some of Tob payd
   but nine hundred twenty two tb, wch the Court hath ordered that the
   bond beinge forfeited mr Foster shall haue the P1antacon immediatly
   in posion, And the Deft hath Immediatly diliuered to mr Foster his
   pattent of the sd Land in open Court, but mr Foster hath giuen the
   Deft two monethes time to pay the Tob, before he turnes him from
   the Plantacon

   Joti Deere Deft
     The Plant demands securytie of a Debt of one thousand eight hun
   dred eighty flue pounds of Tob by two bills wch the Deft Acknowl
   edgeth, & that he hath promised security. The Court doth order &
   wth the Loncente of both ptyes That it the Deft Jofl Deere shall not
   make good paymt in good Beefe & Porke to the Plt mr Lloyd betwixt
   and the tenth day of Dee. next at the price Curant that then the Plan
   tacon belonginge to John Deere in Chester Riuer beinge fower hun
   dred Acres, to be Lyable to satisfie the aboue sd Debt, as alsoe to be
   bound ouer to the Plt Immediatly for his security, & the Deft to pay
