Seth foster.
Upon the Refferance last Court betwixt william Hopkins Plant,
& Mr Seth Foster Deift, the Plants Findinge that Mr Foster doth not
appeare in pson to Answar the suyt, but by his Atturny, The Plant
doth Craue of the Court that hee may let fall his suyt wch wth the
consent of both ptyes the Court hath willingly granted, only that
the sd will Hopkins shall pay the Charges of the suyt Else Execn
W Joseph wickes demandeth Rights of Land For one Maid Ser
uant trancported into this Province this prseflt yeare by Name Ann
Garland wch mr wickes Declareth in Court is not yet taken up nor

Whereas the Deft beinge Arrested to this Court on a prsentmt from
the Constable by Information of mr Thö: Ringgold against the sd
Murill for a Common Swearer & disturber of the peace but the Plant
mr ThO Ringgold could not proue his Charge against the sd Murill.
Therefore he hath desird a Refferance for further proofe therein,
unto the next Court. The Deift haueinge gluen consent thereto, the
Court hath granted their desire for a Further hearinge.
Whereas an Attachmt Issued forth for mr Edward Lloyd the 16th
of March last, against the esstate of Samuell Edsell a non Resedent
for the breach of a Condicon wth mr Lloyd, haueinge reed from him
three hh: of Tob wayinge one Thousand & nine Pounds nete, in Feb.
1656 there upon the sd Edsell was to make returne of one Negro
woman, & A beuer hatt in octob. Followinge, And upon mr Lloyds
receipt thereof he was to make the sd Edsell further satisfacon wch
Doth appeare to this Court under hand & seale but noe performance
or satisfacon beinge mayd, to mr Lloyd, as farr as this Court doth
understand, And that the Sheriffe hath called the sd Edsell to Answar
to to the Charge or shew cause why the Court shall not proceed to
Judgmt, wch neither by himselfe or Atturny doth appeare. The Court
doth therf ore order that Execucon shall be granted accordinge to the
tenour of the Attachmt for fowrteene hundred Pounds of Tob of
Samuell Edsells Esstate: the Attachmt beinge serued mr Seth Foster,
by his Atturny Capt Vaughan, hath confest there is in his hands one
Thousand & Eighty Th, & Edsell to pay cost of suyte.
Thomas Wetherill doth & hath giuen to Margret Winchester the
wife of John winchester one Heifer of two years old Cropt on both
Eares, And a piece taken out of the topp of the Right Eare And a
piece taken out under the left eare or a half e square a slitt in it,
the Coulour blacke browne wth a mealy nose, wch I the sd wetherill
