317 me notice that he had Obtained an Order in the Prouinciall Court
against the sherriffe Mr John Collett of the County where Haddaway
liued for the debt, but I understand the debt is not yet sattisfyed
therefore I doe request yow in my behalfe and as my lawfull Attor
ney in that bussiness to prosecute and by the undoubted Justice of the
Court to recouer and take into yor handes the said debt and what
shall grow Justly due uppon it, hopeing the Court will be pleased
Judiciously to consider both the quality of the tobacco that should
haue been paid and the long time it hath been detained from mee,
[p. 348] which I shall humbly Ieaue to theme Consideracons & willingly aquise
in theire determinacons, giuing yow full power upon receiuing sattis
faccon to giue such acquittances or discharges as the Court shall
Judge reasonable or is usuall in such cases and what yow shall act in

tisfye in leiw of the said 1800lb of sweet sented tobacco—
Ordered that the defendt pay 3600lb of arranoka tobacco in sattis
faccon of the said 1800lb tob: sweet sented unto Mr John Gittings
the Attorney of Colt: Rob: Smyth of uirgenia
