Wednesday 6. March 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Allen Quynn Esqr
one hundred and fifteen pounds, twelve shillings and two pence of
the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit
&ca due him per Certificates adjusted & passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Alexander Contee Hanson Esqr
thirty pounds of the same Emission on Account of his Salary. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Robert Denny thirty pounds
of the same Emission to be delivered over to Captain Perry Benson
of the 5th Regiment agreeable to a Resolution of the Board of the 22d
July 1781 on Account —

That the said Treasurer pay to John Dougherty seventy pounds,
eighteen shillings & one penny of the same Emission, thirty two
pounds, ten shillings and ten pence thereof to be by him retained and
thirty eight pounds, seven shillings and three pence to be delivered
over to Woolman Gibson per Accounts passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Capt John Sears twelve pounds,
eighteen shillings for Stores to the first instant and also thirty pounds
of the same Emission in lieu of a Suit of Cloaths & four Shirts for
the present Year on Account

That the said Treasurer pay to James Williams four hundred and
two pounds, eighteen shillings and two pence half penny of the same
Emission for the use of Elizabeth Adams due her per Account
passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Mary Howard fifteen pounds,
eight shillings and five pence specie agreeable to the Act to adjust
the Debts due from this State per Account passed. —

That the said Treasurer pay to Judson Coolidge two hundred &
twenty four pounds, thirteen shillings & one penny and to Mary
Howard, fifteen pounds, eight shillings & five pence of the Bills
emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due on
Certificates issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from
this State-

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Joseph Baxter
nine thousand pounds of Tobacco including four per Cent for Casks
at fifteen shillings specie per Cent in part Payment of an Order drawn
by Jonathan Hudson in favor of Mr Baxter of the 5th of June 1780
adjusted and passed. —

Permission granted to Maurice Simons Esqr of Charles Town to
ship on Board the Brig Mentor now in Potowmack a Flag of Truce
for Charles Town ninety four thousand three hundred pounds of
Tobacco which Said Tobacco he has received in Payment for Ad-
vances made to the Officers of the Maryland Line while they were
Prisoners of War in Charles Town & at Haddrels point. —
